(Discard the bent bits.)

Cut a piece of Sellotape (Scotch tape) about 1 1/4" long, and lay it. sticky side up, on the table.

Choose one length of each colour of the cut paperclips, and lay them, side, by side, with the ends matching, onto  the sticky side of the sticky tape, about 1/3 of the way up.

Fold the bottom of the tape up, over the bottom of the "pens", and fold the top down, over the top, so that it looks like those plastic envelope packets that the pens come in.

Press the sides of the tape firmly together, and trim them.

Voila!! A packet of felt tip pens!

Variations can be made using thicker paperclips to make jumbo pens.

If you are clever with the computer, you can design your own tiny labels for them!
